I took my 80HP ‘61 upto a GPS verified 81. I think I still had about 4MPH left on it. Maybe 9.

If I’d had a tach I would’ve felt more comfortable going higher lol. I was also very not mechanically inclined at the time and only had the car for the summer before I sold it for a nice profit but a little bit of regret that I had nowhere to store it through the winter
